Can't Wait To Share

The days following the referral call 

brought on a frenzy of paperwork and email.

We had a pediatrician look at Jessica's file.

We also requested updated photos, video, and submitted questions.

Because the referral came from an orphanage that our agency has a partnership with, 

it is much easier to get additional information.

Everything about our little Jessica is looking just wonderful.

Our agency sent off our EA

(Electronic Acceptance) 

on July 15.

We got updated pictures and video on Friday the 18th! 

Once we get RA (Referral Acceptance),

we can share those darling little photos.

All that I can say now, is that she has the sweetest little cheeks on the planet!

Can't wait to kiss them!!

Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land.

The wait has made us very weary at times.

But then we saw this precious gem and time just doesn't matter!

We got the call on Friday and have been smiling ever since.  

She just turned one.

We will submit our letters of intention tomorrow and then wait for the next gazillion pages of paperwork to begin.  

Hate to get our hopes up about travel......

But, the trend seems to be 3-4 months from the time of referral to the time that we could go to Ch*na!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: rejoice!
