THE CALL!

After months of waiting, and praying, and hoping, and planning,

we were stunned to get THE CALL

yesterday morning!

Sorry we can't share more of her yet.

But, believe me,

she is precious beyond words.

We are over-the-moon excited!

Over the next several days, we will be consulting with a few medical professionals and hopefully getting an update from her orphanage.

Then, we will be proceeding with the adoption!!

Eternal Family Program

Aug 2014 UPDATE -- We are so thrilled to be able to share that God has provided every penny we need for the adoption. I kid you not, every penny. When we began this process, we were not even sure if we could afford the first several hundred dollars for the application. But, God is faithful!! He provides!! And, we are sorry that we ever doubted. And, so very happy that we can share that HE took care of everything at just the right time every single step of the journey!! God used so many people to encourage and support us along the way. We are so thankful for those who gave so generously of their time and resources. Thank you and we know that God will bless you for helping to take care of one of His precious babes!

Our Adoption Timeline

Easter 2012 -- Announced our Adoption Plans

May 4, 2012 -- Accepted into the AWAA program

July 9, 2012 -- First social worker visit

July 23, 2012 -- Last social worker visit and all the adult physicals are done

September 19, 2012 -- Mailed all our documents off to be state certified AND mailed our 1800a application off to USCIS

Feb 25, 2013 -- LID Log In Date, our dossier is in China

Dec 6, 2013 -- Call from AWAA! Reviewing THE file!

Dec 10, 2013 -- Received news that Baby Rou died.

December - July -- Lots of waiting and praying.

July 11, 2014 -- Call from AWAA! Finally another referral!!

July 15, 2014 -- EA (electronic acceptance) sent to China via AWAA

July 21, 2014 -- Received RA (referral acceptance) and mailed off our I800 application to UCSIS

Aug 6, 2014 -- Received 1800 Provisional Approval

Aug 29, 2014 -- Received NVC Notification Email and submitted DS-260 Visa Application

October 1, 2014 -- Received Travel Approval!!

October 31, 2014 -- Travel to China

November 2, 2014 -- Gotcha Day!!
