In my arms for the first time in a hallway of the civil affairs office.
Looking at pictures of her new family with her foster mom. She had been showing her pictures of us for the last couple of months while we waited to travel. The foster mom asked to keep the new pictures that we brought. She gave us a disposable camera with pictures that she had taken of Jessica.
The music box and puffs were a huge hit!
Livi was great with her right from the start!

The transition went smoother than we thought it would. She fell asleep in my arms before we finished paperwork. She ate and played back at the hotel. She cried a bit at bedtime and wanted nothing of the crib. But went to sleep quickly next to me in bed. And slept all night long.
